A) Looking at the graph, we will go to 40 on the x-axis and go up til we touched the graph so f(40) = $20 B) Imagine swapping your x and y axis and having you graph flip accordingly. Or, swap the axes and plot points again i.e. find f(40), f(30) and f(0) once you swap the axes C) Once you create your inverse graph, finding f^-1 (40) should be easy. The explanation should be something like “When the sunglasses sell y units, we can assume the price was x dollars per glasses. Hope this helps! Contact me for further explanations.

F(40)= $20 per pair of sunglasses -according to the information we see on the graph-

In practical terms, it can be implied that selling the glasses at a cheaper price has a correlation to more customers buying them.


The reason we can infer this information from the graph is because there is an apparent and consistent negative trend in the plotting of points.
