X plus 10% is 150. What is the value of x?

So the original number is X. And if I add 10% to X I get 150.

I wanna know what the original value of X is.

X plus 10% means X plus another 10% of X

 

X + 10%X = 150

X + .10X = 150

1.1 X = 150

X = 136.36
