In the first quadrant A is 1,1 and B is 3,2 what is that rounded to the nearst thousandths?

What is the answer to that?

Please rephrase the question. What, specifically, are you asking? Are you asking for the distance between the points (1,1) and (3,2)?

Are you asked to find the distance (length)?

If so

Formula for Distance is

√(xA - xB)2 + (yA - yB)2

where one point is (xA,yA) and the other point is (xB,yB)

In your case,

xA = 1, yA = 1, xB = 3 , yB = 2

just plug the values in.

By the way, the symbol in front just means take the square root of the whole thing.
