From the given information, we know that one point of the function is (0,8), which happens to be our y-intercept since x=0 at this point. We also know that the slope of the line is 5. Using the slope intercept form of a line, y = mx + b, we can plug these values in to find our function => y = f(x) = 5x + 8. Hope this helps!
