ZnS + HBr ==> ZnBr2 + H2S
Balance the Zn: 1 on each side so it's ok
Balance S: 1 on each side so it's ok
Balance H: 1 on the left side and 2 on the right, so put a 2 in front of the HBr on the left.
ZnS + 2HBr ==> ZnBr2 + H2S
By doing this you also made 2 Br on the left, and this now matches the 2 Br on the right. This is the balanced equation.
