The sun coming out from behind the clouds caused the number of people swimming to

increase by 330 percent. If 390 swimmers were there before the sun came out, how many

were there after the sun came out?

390 x 330% = 390 x 3.3 = 1287 increase

increase + original =

1287 + 390 = 1677

There is a 330% increment;

330+100 =430

390*430% = 1677
