Lets say speed of Emma; 8v
speed of Emily; v
the equation should be;
48/8v +4 = 36/v. (cancel v)
48/8 +4v = 36
6 +4v = 36
4v = 30
v = 7.5. (Emily 7.5 km per h)
then Emma 8*7.5 = 60 km per h.
36/7.5 = 4.8 hours
