Call the long side of the rectangle X+4

We know the perimeter of the garden is 2X + 2(X+4) = 120, the length of the Fence

So 2X + 2X + 8 = 120

4X + 8 = 120 4X = 120 - 8 = 112 X = 112 / 4 = 28 feet for the smaller side X + 4 = 32 feet for the longer side
