I need help solving this please help me

In this triangle,  = ?


the triangle is a right angle between point A and B there is 4.24 between B and C is 3 in the corner of c is 90 degrees and A and C is 3

Recall that cosine of an angle is the opposite side over the hypotenuse (the side across from the right angle). So, identify the opposite side from angle A in order to find cos A; and do the same for B in order to find cos B. Then, you just plug in those values and simplify (this will mean dividing two fractions).

It's an approximation to say AB is 4.24


AC = BC = 3


AB^2 = 3^2 + 3^2 = 18

AB = sqr18 = about 4.24 rounded off to 2 decimals


but no need to do that


cosA/cosB = 1


since A=B.


the right triangle is isosceles.

if 2 sides of a right triangle are equal, the 2 opposite angles are also equal


this problem is almost a trick question.

if A=B, then cosA=cosB and their ratio is 1
