The relationship between wavelength (λ) and frequency (ν) is given by:
c = λν where c is the speed of light = ~3x108 m/sec
1). c = λν
3x108 m/sec =1.16x1015 m (ν)
ν = 3x108 m/sec / 1.16x1015 m
ν = 2.59x10-7 sec-1
2). c = λν
3x108 m/sec = (1.50x108 sec-1)(λ) ... note that Hz is equal to sec-1
λ = 3x108 m/sec / 1.50x108 sec-1)
