formula for the area of a regular polygon is A = (1/2)nsr where n= number of sides = 7 for a heptagon, s = length of a side = 8, and r= apothem = distance from the center of the polygon to the midpoint of a side
r = s/2tan(180n) = 8/2tan180/7) = 4/tan180/7 = about 8.31
Area = (1/2)(7)(8)(8.31) = 28(8.31) = 232.56
or round it off
Area = 233
not sure what radius = 12.5 affects this or what it means
