First find the slope m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)=(-1-(-3))/(6-3)=2/3
Use slope point form you have: y-(-3)=(2/3)(x-3) or
y+3=(2/3)x-2
y=(2/3)x-5

Use two-point form from Algebra 1
(y - (-3)) / (x - 3) = (-1 - (-3)) / (6 - 3)
