Did you see any minimum or maximums? Do the graphs has high points or low points?

The bottom of the parabola and the top of the parabola but since those graphs go on vertically forever I was wondering if the bottom and top of the parabola would count as a max/min

The term is local maximum and local minimum.

The important piece of information needed here is the interval in question. If you limit the domain of the function to some interval (say pi/6 to pi/3, or 0 to pi\2) then the answer is very different from considering all of R (or even a larger subset than an interval of length pi). Also, as mentioned above and implied by my comment, a local max/min is distinct from a global max/min. This should be specified, but I would assume that they mean global if it was not otherwise stated.
