a) Supposing you have 𝑥 bookings for short sessions and 𝑦 bookings for long sessions, write down an inequality that expresses your time constraint of a maximum of 4 hours per day for bookings.

b) Clearly, the combination of 12 short sessions and zero long sessions will completely use the 4 hours available without wasting any time. Find another such combination that uses all the available time.

(a) short sessions - 20x minutes, long sessions 45y minutes. 4 hours = 4 x 60 = 240 mins

20x + 45y <= 240

(b) You need 20x + 45y = 240 (x and y are 0 or positive integers)

y = (240 - 20x) / 45

Try x = 1, 2 .... until you find an x value that gives a valid y
