Copper IV is a Cu4+ ion
Sulfate is a SO4 and the associated ion is SO42-
So, it would take 2 SO42- ions to electrically balance 1 Cu4+ ion.
That means the formula would be Cu(SO4)2
That being said, I don't believe copper has a naturally occurring +4 ion but perhaps this is just an academic question.
