it creates a right triangle with sides 1,1 and sqr2 as the hypotenuse
cotx = adjacent side over opposite side = 1/1 = 1
tanx =1/cot = 1
sinx =-opposite side over hypotenuse = 1/sqr2 = sqr2/2
csc =-1/sinx = sqr2
cosx = adjacent side over hypotenuse = -1/sqr2= -sqr2/2
secx =1/cosx = -sqr2
