If you bisect the segment of length 48 with a segment from the other vertex, you will have formed two congruent right triangles, each with sides of length 24 and a (stands for altitude) and hypotenuse 28.
a = sqrt(282 - 242) = 4 sqrt(72 - 62) = 4√13
sinθ = a/hypotenuse= 4√13/28 = √13/7
cosθ = adjacent/hypotenuse = 24/28 = 6/7
tanθ = opposite/adjacent = 4√13/24 = √13/6
