For P4: 6.20 g P4 x 1 mol P4/124 g x 4 mols PH3 / 1 mol P4 x 34.0 g PH3 / mol = 6.8 g PH3 formed
For H2: 4.00 g H2 x 1 mol H2 / 2.00 g x 4 mols PH3 / 6 mols H2 x 34.0 g PH3 / mol = 45.3 g PH3 formed
Since you obtain less product with the P4, that tells you that P4 is LIMITING and the maximum theoretical yield would be 6.80 g of PH3
