If you began with 3.5 moles of helium and 2 moles escaped, that would leave you with 1.5 moles of helium gas in the balloon.
V1 = 25.5 liters
n1 = 3.5 moles
V2 = ?
n2 = 1.5 moles
Avogadro's law: V1 / n1 = V2 / n2
(25.5 L) / (3.5 mols) = (V2) / (1.5 mols)
V2 = 10.9 L
V1/n1 = V2/n2 because both temperature and pressure are constant.
(32.8 L) / 2.98 mols = 50 L / n mols
n = 4.5 moles
