asked 05/13/21Question located down below !!!! Thank you for answering!!!
The distance formula is given by the equation 𝑑=(𝑥2−𝑥1)2+(𝑦2−𝑦1)2‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾√d=(x2−x1)^2+(y2−y1)^2
where d is the distance between the two points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2).
Kevin graphed the points A(-4, 3), B(-2, 1), C(0, 4), and D(3, -5). Find AB + BC + CD rounded to the nearest tenth.
AB + BC + CD

Hi Jose C.,
AB = √[(-2-(-4))2 + (1-3)2] = √[4+4] = 2√[2]
BC = √[(0-(-2))2 + (4-1)2] = √[4+9] = √[13]
CD = √[(3-0)2 + (-5-4)2] = √[9+81] =√[90] =3√[10]
AB+BC+CD = 2√[2]+√[13]+3√[10]
I hope this helps, Joe.
