This is a trig question. You will "stand" at the 60 degree angle, look straight across at the "opposite" leg, and notice you need to solve for the "adjacent" (height) leg. So you will be using Tangent. Tangent = opposite/adjacent.

1. Tangent 60 = 8/h
2. multiply both sides by h and divide both sides by tangent 60 to isolate the h
3. h = 8/tan 60
4. h = 4.62 feet
