a.) If x = 70° and t = 30°, find p, q, and s
b.) If p = 130°, q = 145°, find x, s, and t.
c.) If x = 80° and t = (s – 10) °, find s, t, p, and q.
d.) If q = 8t and p = 5s, find all the five angles.

I will do the first one for you, then you should use the same techniques to do the others.
p+q+x=360 => p+q = 290
p+s=180
q-s=110
q+t=180 => q=150
s=70 and p=110
As you pointed out there is an arithmetic error above.
Since q = 150 and q-s=110; then s =40
and p=110.
So you noted that my answer was incorrect, but apparently did not follow up to see why.
I am sorry for the error...but even tutors make arithmetic mistakes sometimes.

p + q = 290 p=110 + q=150 = 260 so p is not 110 and q is not 150 bec when you add them they are 260 not 29005/13/21

Note that x + p + q = 360. I'll answer the first one for you and you'll get the idea, dear classmate of mine. x=70 t=30 You already know t and q are supplementary so 180 - 30 = 150 =q Since x + p + q = 360 Substitute the numbers we already know (x=70 and q=150) 70 + p + 150 = 360 220 + p = 360 220(-220) + p = 360(-220) p=140 p and s are supplementary so 180 - 140= 40 = s p= 140 q=150 s=40 Checking: 70 + 140 + 150 = 36005/13/21
