first, the questions are not worded correctly. it is not just a solution alone that is formed during these reactions. a precipitate is also formed in each case. so, the first question should say: write the balanced net ionic equation for the reaction when AgNO3 (aq) and K2S (aq) are mixed together. similarly for the other two
i will show you how to do the first. attempt the other two in a similar manner
AgNO3 (aq) --> Ag+ (aq) + NO3- (aq)
K2S (aq) --> 2 K+ (aq) + S2- (aq)
when the two solutions are mixed and when Ag+ and S2- meet, they form the precipitate Ag2S as it is insoluble in water. the other product KNO3 stays in solution as the ions as it is soluble in water. thus,
2 Ag+ (aq) + 2 NO3- (aq) + 2 K+ (aq) + S2- (aq) --> Ag2S (s) + 2 K+ (aq) + 2 NO3- (aq)
canceling the spectator ions, K+ and NO3- on both sides of the arrow,
the net ionic equation is:
2 Ag+ (aq) + S2- (aq) --> Ag2S (s)
try the other two the same way knowing that CaSO4 and Cu3(PO4)2 will get precipitated as solids
all the best on your exam tomorrow
