Slope perpendicular to undefined is a slope of 0.
So, m=0
use y=Mx+b where m=0, x and y come from the point. (6,9)
9=0(6)+b
9=b
b is the y-intercept.
plug in m=0 and b=9 to the slope intercept equation.
y=0x +9
therefore the equation of a line, perpendicular to x=8 and passing through (6,9) simplifies to y= 9.
