3 Cu + 8HNO3 → 3 Cu(NO3)2  + 2 NO + 4 H2O

In the above equation, how many grams of water can be made when 13.5 moles of HNO3 are consumed?

4 moles of H20/8 moles of HN03 * 13.5 moles of HN03 * (2*1+16) gm/mole of H20 = 1/2 * 27/2 * 18 g= 243/2 g = 121.5 g

Note how your units cancel. You should cancel units whenever solving an equation .
