pi=180 so -23(180)/6=-690 and since we are dealing with a unit circle that is between 0 and 360 and since the number is negative then -690+360=-330 and -330 corresponds to 30 degrees on the 4th quadrant. The (x,y) coordinate is also found by (cos x, sin x) where x is the angle in question. Since -330 corresponds to 30 degrees then sin(30)=sqrt(1)/2 or 1/2 and cos(30)=sqrt(3)/2 so the coordinate point for -23pi/6 or-330 is (sqrt(3)/2,-1/2) since y is negative and x is positive in the 4th quadrant
