Remember that all sides of a square are the same, so if the perimeter is 18.4 cm, then we can break that into 4 equal parts to get a side length. That length is our height and our base (or our length and width, depending on the specific words used by your math book/teacher). The area of a square can be found by multiplying base and height, which should be the same number.
