Length of PQ>length of PR and length of PS is greater than length of PR because in a right triangle the hypotenuse is always greater than either leg.
The length of PS is GREATER than length of PQ (despite the way it looks in the diagram) because in a triangle with two unequal angles, the sides opposite these angles are unequal and the longer side is opposite the greater angle.
