QUESTION: How many gallons can joes pool hold?

Hello Catherine!
This question is relatively straightforward, provided you know that 1 gallon = 0.1337 ft3.
You then calculate the volume of the pool, in cubic feet, by multiplying the dimensions (LxWxH, H= height, or you can use D for depth... it's the same!). Since your problem statement leaves out the relevant information to determine the shape of the pool, we can't give an answer. However, if this is really a geometry problem, I would suspect the pool to be a combination of 2-D squares, triangles, or rectangles with associated depths, so the same principles apply (with a factor of 1/2 for triangles).
