Leslie in your problem you must mean T is greater than pi/2 and less than pi. In this case the angle is in the second quadrant so you can draw your reference triangle showing the opposite side to be 34 in length and the adjacent side to be -1 in length. Now you can calculate the length of the hypotenuse by taking the square root of the sum of the squares. This will then allow you to calculate all the trig functions. For example the sin of t would be 34 divided by 34.01, giving you +0 .9997. The cosine which is negative in the second quadrant would be (-1/34.01), etc. the other functions then follow secant of course is 1/cosine and the csc is 1/sin and of course the cot is 1 over tangent (or -1/34) Richard
