Ok, this is simple, if I understand your question well (it's a bit vague)
Starting population = X = 100
Per capita growth rate = 0.5 (a bit too much, but ok, what are those...)
1 (those who are present there) + per capita growth rate = 1.5
put on exponent, 7 cycles, 1.5^7 = about 17
So it's about 1708
Or... Just slap calculator 7 times :D
100 x 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5
