How would I solve this?

The ratio of corn to wheat is therefore 3:1.

So, 3+1 = 4 and the ratio of the crops is as follows:

3/4 of the 180 acres is corn..... so (3/4)x(180) = 135 acres

and

1/4 of the 180 acres is wheat.... so (1/4)x(180) = 45 acres

135 + 45 = 180 and 45 x 3 = 135 so it is 3 times as many acres of corn vs wheat!
