Need to find point which is 3/5 of the way from A(-9,-2) to B(-4,8)
Distance between x coordinate of A and x coordinate of B is -4--9 = 5. 3/5 of that distance is 3. Add that to x-coordinate of A = -9 + 3 = -6.
Distance between y coordinate of A and y coordinate of B is 8--2 = 10. 3/5 of that distance is 6. Add that to y-coordinate of A = -2 + 6 = 4.
Point is (-6,4).
