Because it is a strong electrolyte, it will dissociate completely in water to produce the ions that make up the salt.
Calcium nitrate = Ca(NO3)2
When placed in water, this will dissociate as follows:
Ca(NO3)2 ==> Ca2+(aq) = 2NO3-(aq)
If you have 3 spaces to fill in, I can't imagine what they want in the 3rd space. Perhaps they want
Ca2+, NO3-, NO3- or maybe they want Ca2+, NO3-, H2O. I'm not sure.
