Complementary angles add to 90 degrees. So you can set up an equation.
Angle 1 + Angle 2 = 90 Substitute in what is given
(x-10)+(4x-10) = 90 Combine like terms
5x-20 = 90 Add 20 to both sides
5x=110 Divide both by 5
x=22
Now you can plug x in to find the measures of both angles
m<UVW=(22-10)degrees = 12
m<XYZ=(4(22)-10)degrees = 78
