Gallium electron configuration:
1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p6 3d10 4s2 4p1
The valence electrons are the 4s2 and 4p1 electrons for a total of THREE valence electrons.
The quantum numbers for these are:
For the 4s electrons: n = 4, l = 0, mi = 0, s = +1/2 and -1/2
For the 4p electron: n = 4, l = 1, ml =-1, s = +1/2
