Using this ratio (1:20), show that the angle that the ramp had to make with the horizontal is closest to 3 degrees.

This would make the tangent of this angle 1/20 so

tan(x) = (1/20). Now take inverse tangent of both sides and you get

x= 2.86 degrees which rounds to 3degrees
