asked 02/24/21If the radius of the enclosure is 1,000 feet, what is the approximate area of the sector in which the bison are kept?
It's giving me a circle that is divided into 6 different degrees. 70, 55, 35, 85, 55, but there is one missing.

70+55+35+85+55 = 300. So remaining angle is 360-300 = 60 degrees. That is 60/360 = 1/6 of the whole circle (assuming the enclosure is a circle)
If the bison are kept in the sector with that 60 degree angle, then the area of that sector would be 1/6 of the area of the whole circle.
The area of the circle is PI * R^2 = 3.14 (1000)^2 = 3,140,000 square feet. 1/6 of that area = 523,333.33 square feet.

Yes if the dimension are correct then.... Area of a circle is given by the formula........A = πr2 ....so we have A = (3.14 approx) (1000) squared which is a number more than 3million right?......Something is missing right?02/24/21
