The cost of products are determined by a few things: The cost to make the product (ie: materials, labor), then there is packaging, shipping, and handling. You must add in additional things like advertising and taxes, which vary from state to state and in different countries bring merchandise into the U.S, can cause a fluctuation in pricing. But truly the bottom line is it all comes down to supply and demand. The more something is in demand the higher the price can be fetched for said product.
