NaHCO3 → NaOH + CO2

  1. Baking soda decomposes in heat according to this balanced equation: NaHCO3 → NaOH + CO2

if 25 grams of NaHCO3 decomposes in this reaction, how many grams of sodium hydroxide should be produced?

If 10.5 grams of sodium hydroxide is actually produced, what was my percent yield?
