CD is an altitude of ABC means CD is perpendicular to AB with CD intersecting AB at point D.
Perpendicular means a 90 degree angle. ACD or ACB are right triangles. because CD is perpendicular to AB and perpendicular to AD and perpendicular to AB

You may try to mark vertices of triangle and point D. Otherwise, solving this problem is problematic.02/05/21
