Hello Dawson. Happy to help.
The density is the relationship between the mass of an object and its volume.
so Density =mass of substance/volume of substance.
You measured the mass and volume of water and want to compare the experimental data to the known theoretical value.
First calculate your experimental density.
Density = mass of water 4.83g/volume of water 5.0mL
Density = 0.97g/mL
I am using 2 significant figures in the answer since 5.0 has 2 significant figures.
To calculate the percent error we use the following equation:
(Experimental-Theoretical)/Theoretical * 100
so you have (0.97-1.00)/1.00 *100
You will repeat the same steps for isopropyl alcohol.
I hope this helps. Please reach out to me if you have any additional questions.

0.815 for density. You don't round it to 0.82?02/06/21

So then it would be 4.32 percent?02/06/21
