How to Form a Pythagorean Triplet Using Even and Odd Method

1. If the number is odd: Square the number N and then divide it by 2. Take the integer that is immediately before and after that number i.e. (N²/2 -0.5) and (N²/2 +0.5). ...
2. If the number is even: Take the half of that number N and then square it. Pythagorean triplet= N, (N/2)²-1, (N/2)²+1.

Square and divide by 2 = 9/2 = 4.5

Integers immediately before and after are 4 and 5.

Select 4

Take half and square it = 4

Integers one less and one more and 3 and 5.

Pythagorean Theorem = a^2 + b^2 = c^2 where a and b are legs and c is hypotenuse (largest value)
