If we draw a right triangle with one angle 15° and the length of the hypotenuse 45' we can easily calculate the height and length.
r sin θ = y = height of the ramp
r cos θ = x = length of the bottom of the ramp = distance away from the building.
We know r = 45' and θ = 15º so all we have to do are plug in the numbers.
45 sin(15) = 11.6' = height of the ramp.
45 cos(15) = 43.4' = how far away from the base of the building the ramp extends.
