Compute slope of each pair using formula:
slope = (y2- y1)/(x2 - x1), where (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) are coordinates of two points.
For example for :B(5,2) C(7,-5), slope would be (-5-2)/(7-5) = -7/2 = -3.5
A line parallel to a line passing through these points would need to have the same slope of -3.5.
When equation of the line are in the form y=mx+b, m is the slope, so the equation with m = -3.5 would represent a line that is parallel to the line passing through B and C. In this case y = -3.5x - 15 would be the correct match.
