y=(-7/5)x + b

0 = (-7/5)8 + b

b = 56/5 = y intercept = 11.2

equation of the line AB is

y=(-7/5)x + 56/5 or

7x+5y = 56

the point D (5,5) is almost on that line, but not quite

7(5)+5(5) = 35+25 = 60, not 56. without knowing point C, or the slope of CD, another point on CD or some additional information, you can't solve for CD
