As William commented above, you need to tell us what these expressions represent. Are they side lengths? Consecutive angles? Opposite angles?
Let's assume they are consecutive angles. In this type of problem, they want you to use some property of the parallelogram to solve the problem. For consecutive angles, the property is that they sum to 180°. So:
4x - 3 + 4x - 37 = 180
49 + y/5 = 180
Solve the first equation for x, the second equation for y. If the expressions are NOT consecutive angles, then you need to tell us what they are.
