What is the Area of this Figure?

I divided it into a square and triangle but and solved but am still not getting the right answer.

The area of the left rectangle should be 5 * 10 = 50cm² and the area of the right triangle is 7 * 5/2 = 35/2cm², so the total area is 50 + 35/2 = 135/2 = 67.5cm².

Area of Figure = Area of Rectangle + Area of Triangle

1. Area of rectangle = 5 x 10 = 50 cm²
2. Area of Triangle = (1/2) x base x height = (1/2) x 7 x 5 = 17.5 cm²

Area of Figure = Area of Rectangle + Area of Triangle = 50 + 17.5 = 67.5 cm²
