fencing needed is the perimeter. If it's a square dog pen, then sqr52 = one side. 4sqr52 = needed fencing
if 54 is the area fenced, with a square dog pen, 4sqr54 is needed
if 38+10sqr2 is the area, 4sqr(38+10sqr2) is needed
if 38+4sqr2 is the area, 4sqr(38+4sqr2) is needed
if it's not a square, the numbers are minimums needed
A. about 28.8 feet needed
B about 29.4 feet needed
C about 28.9 feet
D about 26.4 feet
If it's a rectangle, but not a square you need more
You could have a circular dog pen, which would allow for less fencing and the least possible fencing.
for 52 square feet, A = pir^2 where r= sqr(52/pi) Perimeter = 2pir = 2pi(sqr52/pi) = about 25.5 feet needed
