Please help with chem homework on balancing equations!

We need to balance these equations and write them in chemical formula:

1. Aluminum hydroxide + calcium sulfate = Aluminum sulfate + calcium hydroxide
2. Barium nitrate + sodium Sulfate =
3. Aluminum + Vanadium (III) Oxide =
4. Calcium Iodide + Sodium Chloride = calcium chloride + sodium iodine
5. Carbon + Oxygen = Carbon Monoxide

for 2 and 3 we have to also finish the equation, thank you btw!!

I'll do 1 and 2 and hopefully you can do the others.

1). 2Al(OH)₃ + 3CaSO₄ ==> Al₂(SO₄)₃ + 3Ca(OH)₂

To do this, you would need to know that Al is 3+, OH is 1-, Ca is 2+ and SO4 is 2-.

2). Barium nitrate + sodium Sulfate = barium sulfate + sodium nitrate (double replacement reaction)

Ba(NO₃)₂ + Na₂SO4 ==> BaSO₄ + 2NaNO₃

Ba is 2+, NO₃ is 1-, Na is 1+ and SO₄ is 2-
